하와이 Honolulu Magazine의 2014년 Best Realtor 부문 뉴스타 에이젼트 분의 수상 소식

2008년도 쯤인가요? 제가 사는 이곳 미국의 서브프라임모기지론에서 시작된 경기침체와 금융위기의 파장은 전세계로 광범위하게 확산되었는데요. 최근 중국발 핫머니를 비롯하여 외국인들의 투자자본 유치와 더불어 더블딥 극복후 무너졌던 부동산 시장의 활황 소식에 부동산 공부에 관심을 가지고 있는 1인 으로써 매체를 통하여 접하게 된 기분좋은 소식을 전해드리려구요.

여러분 혹시 125년 전통의 하와이 Honolulu Magazine 에 대해서 알고 계시나요?

본 매거진에서는 하와이 지역을 비롯하여 전세계에 하와이의 먹거리, 관광, 문화, 레져 등 하와이 전반에 걸쳐 홍보를하고 있답니다. 더불어 매년 각 부문별 매거진 상을 수상하는데요. 2014년 하레아이나 상 “일본 요리” 부문에서는 모리 모토 와이키키가 수상하였구요. 2014년 Best Realtor상에는 쟁쟁한 수많은 경쟁자들에도 불구하고 한인 Agent 로는 최초로 New Star Hawaii Real Estate 의 Jeannie Yu씨께서 수상하였다는 소식을 접하였답니다. 더불어 Los Angeles 한인 밀집지역에 자리잡은 Newstar Realty & Inv. 의 남문기 회장님과 제니남 사장님께서 올 4월달 Honolulu Magazine에 Jeannie Yu 씨와 함께 사진이 실린다고 하니 같은 한인으로써 너무너무 기쁠수가 없네요. 언젠가는 저 역시 남문기 회장님과 제니남 사장님의 땀과 열정으로 일구어 놓은 세계 한인 최고의 부동산 회사를 넘어 세계 최고의 제1의 부동산 회사를 만들고 싶답니다. ^^&

그러자면 앞선 분들의 가르침을 잘 배우고 익혀야겠죠.

JEANNIE YU LIVES BY THE VERSE, “The joy of the Lord is your strength!”
(Nehemiah 8:10) Because she finds joy in all that she does, Jeannie is able
to devote herself to being the best possible real estate agent, providing
clear and honest client-focused service. “Where I find real joy, I find great
satisfaction,” she says.
Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, Jeannie came to the United States in
1988. In 1989, Jeannie became the first agent at New Star Realty in Garden
Grove, California. She later moved from Rancho Cucamonga, California
to Oahu, Hawaii in 1997, and has been serving the islands as a member
of New Star Realty Hawaii since 2008. Often referred to as the “stressfree
realtor,” Jeannie believes in creating her own laughter and strength
in every situation. “But I should not say it is from my own ability,” she
explains. “It is from the Lord who lives inside of me.”
As there are born-again Christians, Jeannie considers herself a
born-again real estate agent. She now knows that being an agent is her
true calling, as it gives her the opportunity to share her generous, joyful
personality with others. Jeannie attributes her success as an agent to her
husband, daughter, coworkers, New Star Realty and, of course, the Lord.
