Thank You Letters to New Star Scholarship Foundation

Dear New Star,

I first want to thank God for answering my prayer. I also want to thank the New Star Scholarship Foundation for giving me the scholarship which means a lot to me. I've been having a gap year after high school because my family couldn't afford to pay for my college tuition fee. However, when I received the New Star Scholarship, I realized the time has finally come for me to go to college and make my dream come true. I also realized how important it is to care for others who are in financial need. Throughout my life, I will try to remember those who are suffering from financial hardships and do my best to help them.

My name is Ji-Hyun and I am truly honored to be a recipient of 2014 Newstar scholarship. The scholarship would prove to be a great help paying for college tuition. But more importantly, the receiving the scholarship once again reminded me the unseen love and supports the Newstar Realty shares with the Korean community. I feel truly fortunate to be showered with such appreciation and will strive my best to give back to the community just as Newstar has been doing for the past years. I shall keep in mind my pledge that I made during the ceremony to provide help and nurture promising students who will achieve great deeds, even becoming the president.  Again, thank you all for such a great gift.

Hello, NewStar    I wanted to start off by saying thank you for this great opportunity. Even though some students may take for granted their ability to attend college without any serious worries, I have always been restricted by financial problems. Even while I was writing my college essays and applying to several different colleges, I have been worried about whether my family can even afford to send me to higher education. And after many discussions with my family, I have ultimately decided to indeed go to college, but I could not help but continue worrying about our financial situation. After finding out that I qualify for this scholarship, it feels as if a great burden has been lifted off my shoulders. Although this amount of money might not seem as important to other families, it definitely has been a great help to mine. I greatly appreciate and am very thankful that there are people in my community who are so generous and giving. I look forward to later in the future when I will be able to help other students who may be in similar situations.
